Food Notes

This section of Splattered Apron is dedicated to the things I have learnt along the way about different herbs, spices, produce and foods and what defines them, how they might work with other ingredients and some recipes I have tried and blogged about.

Food notes is intended to be informative and helpful but please take into consideration that I have never attended any cooking course and the information kept here is based solely off my own experiences or research into different foods. Sometimes when cooking I wonder what causes the difference between certain, similar types of food such as hearth breads and flat breads.
