Recipes developed by Alanna Marise and Matt
Preparation Time: 5 minutes, Whizzing Time: 1 minute
In less than one week we move out of our flat and so we have been trying to eat as much out of the freezer, fridge and the pantry. I have had a bag of frozen blueberries in the freezer for a while now. While I have a couple of really good Blueberry Muffin recipes from Alison Holst and Annabel Langbein, I have been trying to use up other ingredients in my baking recently. Luckily (really has nothing to do with luck), since I purchased my partner a nutribullet for Christmas we can now use ingredients like blueberries in all sorts of delicious, nutritious, post-gym smoothies. This is exactly what we did on Sunday.
We each made our own spin off of a blueberry banana smoothie. The main difference stemmed down to the fact I couldn’t deal with having a raw egg in mine. While Matt’s is probably more suitable as a post-workout smoothie I think mine was more delicious. Mine is the one with the handle, which is important as the consistency for each smoothie did come out differently. Matt’s was a bit more silky, and had a sheen to it.
